Tag THIS
You might have noticed in the past few days that this blog now categorizes posts using tags in addition to the traditional categories. This was made possible thanks to the recent addition of tagging support in Wordpress, but also thanks to Garden’s help in manually adding tag support to the theme I’m currently using (I tried to contact its author to ask about an updated release but got no answer). As a result, I’ve (very slowly) added tags to all the previous posts, although they might change at any time. Additionally, thanks to Garden’s and Rob’s help, some bugs in the jLanguage plugin have been fixed (again, no luck when trying to contact its author).
Your title here
I’ve decided that future posts will only have titles in English. Given the way the language plugin I’m using on this blog works, I suspect this will create less problems with search engines or other kinds of indexers; my non-Italian readers will notice no difference (as only one language appears on titles and post contents at any given time), I’m sure the Italian ones will be able to adapt to this small change.
Multilingual blogging
I’m experimenting with the jLanguage plugin by Jakob Jensen, which allows posting in more than one language and displays images of little flags, or text, through which users can choose what language to display posts in. Some, or all, posts from now on may have this feature, which means I’ll be writing both in English and in Italian, although the default language will stay English.
Comments are welcome in either language. I’d like to know what you think of this feature.
