Flying saucers and urban transportation
It’s the new way to get to work fast while avoiding traffic, according to inventor Paul Moller and the media outlets that picked up the news. The Moller M200G looks like a flying saucer and is powered by eight engines invented and produced by Moller Industries, capable of letting the vehicle hover to a height of around ten feet (not ten meters as some reported) and glide above ground at 50 miles per hour. Production has begun on July 28, and the sale price is claimed to be over $90,000.
There are even several videos that show this new gadget in action, hovering in the air amidst the general astonishment. Interesting, but am I the only one to see the huge crane in the background? “Doesn’t anybody notice this? I feel like I’m taking crazy pills!” Whether the thing really flies or not, having that crane back there doesn’t really help credibility in my opinion.
