I took this picture last year in a public restroom in Disneyland. It’s always good to be prepared and know what you’re supposed to do, leaving nothing to chance.

When you want to explain to your customers how the name of one of your products should be pronounced, at least take care to make sure you are getting it right first.

Another year is gone; the last six months ran by especially fast. New year resolutions: to try and do all those things we never have time for, and generally make the best of the time we have. A happy new year to everyone, in the hope that it will be even better than the one that’s leaving us.

Actress Isabella Rossellini recently wrote, directed and starred in a number of shorts for Sundance Channel describing mating processes in insects and various invertebrates. The series is called “Green Porno”; here’s a trailer. On first impression one might comment with “WTF?”, but if one has the patience to watch the trailer multiple times, his or her opinion is likely to change to “Huh?”.

Translations don’t always work out that well.
